Bookfest@Malaysia 2008

Once again, the annual Bookfest@Malaysia is backed. Since i have already finished my final exam for the present semester by the time bookfest is being launched, maybe i should get myself some useful books there.


As what my dad always tell me:

dad: Gab, read more books...gain as much knowledge as you can from the book. A knowledgeable man will always be respected by others.

gab: Yala...Know lah..i will dozed off within 10 minutes with my lecture notes. And yet you expect me to finish up those books which each is as thick as my forehead??

dad: son, great knowledge behold great power. With great power comes with great responsibility. Thats what a great man should have.

gab: hmmm.....this dialog sounds familiar to me....

dad: i'll try my best too....

gab: *swt....but i m pretty sure that there are some books which i am interested with. You will definitely like those books too...mom will surely cane you if she found out that you are reading those books....hahahaha~~~

gab: sh*t.....

Well, back to the bookfest. Bookfest@Malaysia 2008 comes with the theme "Reading Empowers". Just like what I mentioned just now...knowledge is power~! Even toilet cleaning needs knowledge.



It is a maiden event, with a overwhelming success of exceeding 400, 000 visitorship in 2007 and therefore, bookfest 2008 is going to showcase more than a million books by both Overseas and Local publishers and will be presented starting from 24th May 2008 until 1st June 2008.
Here the details of Bookfest@Malaysia 2008:

Date: 24th May - 1st June 2008
Venue: Hall 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)
Time: 10a.m. - 10p.m.
Admission for exhibition is chargeable at RM 2 per ticket. FREE admission for students 18 years & below and senior citizen 60 years & above

So if you are an admirer of Tun Dr Mahathir, maka sure you get an autograph from him at:
